Event Overview
The City of Burton Parks & Rec Veterans Honor Run is a community tradition centered on expressing gratitude for those who have served. As the concluding event of the Burton Race Series, this occasion provides an opportunity to support veterans and their families. The course consists of a neighborhood route that winds through the local community of Burton, Michigan.

Participant Information
The 5K Ruck requires participants to wear a weighted backpack. The weight must be at least 20 pounds for individuals weighing 150 pounds or less, and at least 30 pounds for those weighing over 150 pounds. Registration includes a post-race meal for all participants.
The first 250 individuals to register receive a special edition dog tag. All finishers of the 11K and the 5K Ruck are awarded a Challenge Coin. Dogs are permitted at the event on a short leash of 4 feet or less and must start at the back of the pack. Timing is handled via disposable bib-tags, providing accurate net times from start to finish. Post-event awards are presented to top overall finishers, masters, and winners across various age groups.
