Veterans Connected 5k/10k : Brighton, MI
The Veterans Connected 5k/10k is a community running event held at Mt Brighton Ski Resort, 4141 Bauer Rd, Brighton, MI. The event was canceled for 2025 and is scheduled to return on May 16, 2026. Proceeds support Veterans Connected of Southeastern Michigan.

The course is a cross country type route that includes dirt and paved trails and fields with slight hills. The race is chip timed and results are provided live and posted by a professional timing organization. Parking is available at Mt Brighton.
Registration traditionally includes a commemorative race T-shirt and finisher medals. Shirts are not guaranteed for late entries. A donation program offers free or discounted entries for specific donation levels. Special pricing options have been offered for families and teams: groups of three or more registering together receive a per-person discount, and teams of four or more have received a per-person team discount. Teams may include both 5k and 10k participants. A local restaurant sponsor has provided food items and contributed gift cards and baskets for large teams.
