14th Annual Veteran Suicide Awareness March
The 14th Annual Veteran Suicide Awareness March is an event in Green Bay organized by HOOAH WI to honor service members, veterans, and their families while raising awareness about veteran suicide. The event offers multiple participation options and routes along the Fox River Trail and includes a virtual option.

- 17.6 miles out and back on the Fox River Trail
- 2.2 miles out and back turning at the Mason St. underpass
- Virtual event complete a walk wherever participants are able
- Mini Mover for children age 14 and under, no registration fee
Registration fees listed for the event options are $30 for the primary routes and virtual entry, and $0 for children age 14 and under. Organizers request that all children register for the event. The 17.6 mile distance is stated to represent the number of veterans who lose their life to suicide every day.
Proceeds from the event support HOOAH WI’s peer support programs, outreach initiatives, and wellness services aimed at preventing suicide and strengthening support networks for veterans and their families.
