PI Day 5k - Green Bay (13th Annual)
The PI Day 5k is a community run/walk held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on March 13, 2027, at Leonardo da Vinci School, 139 South Monroe Avenue. The event is organized each year by fifth grade students from the school; the student team manages sponsorship, marketing, race logistics, route planning, and event-day operations.
Event formats include:
- 5K run/walk
- Kids KupKake sprint
All proceeds are donated to Old Glory Honor Flight, a local charity that arranges trips to honor veterans. Historically, the PI Race has donated more than $220,000 to local charities over its first eleven years.
Race weekend includes packet pick-up at the Leonardo da Vinci Gymnasium (use door #3 on the Doty Street side) on the day before the race and limited packet pick-up on race day. T-shirts are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis; registration completed by February 20 is required to receive a shirt in the correct size. Raffle tickets are available in multiple price tiers for prize drawings, and winners do not need to be present. Pets are not allowed to participate in the race.
The event lists child, adult, family, and team registration categories and notes ongoing fundraising support for the designated charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
