Vértes Terep Maraton event overview
The Vértes Terep Maraton is a trail running event held in Szár at the Sportcsarnok on 11 April 2027. The event is the 21st edition and the field is limited to 900 participants. The route is marked with Terepfutás.hu ribbons and signs and is described as runnable and not technically demanding.
Distances and elevation:
- 50 km with 1.410 m+ elevation, 6 refreshment points
- 39.3 km with 1.133 m+ elevation, 5 refreshment points
- 23.7 km with 625 m+ elevation, 2 refreshment points
- 14.5 km with 367 m+ elevation, 1 refreshment point
Time limits are specified for each distance. Registration opens in early January and continues until 10 April 2027, with an initial Royalty registration window at the start of January.
Included in the entry fee are two medal choices made in Hungary and hand painted by people with disabilities, electronic timing and named race bib, free downloadable photos, on-course refreshments including Tailwind Endurance Fuel and snacks, food options at the finish with three hot meal choices, medical coverage, women hygiene products at the race center and refreshment points, bag storage and shower access, and expo presence.
