Verona Labor Day Classic

Verona Labor Day Classic takes place in Verona Park, Verona, NJ, on Labor Day. The event features a 5K road race certified by USATF-NJ as part of a 500-point grand prix, with the course running through Verona streets starting on Lakeside Ave and finishing near the park’s boathouse. A concurrent 1 Mile Fun Run/Health Walk loops around Verona Park.

The 43rd annual race is organized entirely by volunteers from Verona UNICO and the Essex Running Club, with proceeds supporting local charities and scholarships; Verona UNICO covers half the registration.
