M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon Weekend
The event takes place in Burlington, Vermont, and spans the Memorial Day weekend. The marathon, half marathon, and relay courses run through the city and along Lake Champlain, passing the Church Street Marketplace and the Burlington Bike Path with views of the Adirondack Mountains. The marathon, half marathon, and relay courses are mostly flat with some rolling hills and one larger climb at the start.

- Marathon - 26.2 Miles
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- 2 Person Relay - 26.2 Miles
- 3 to 5 Person Relay - 26.2 Miles
- Wheelchair Race - option for half or full distance
- Vermont City Two Mile - 2 Miles
- Mini Marathon 1 Mile Fun Run - 1 Mile
- Mini Marathon 1/2 Mile Fun Run - 0.5 Miles
- Marathon Virtual - 26.2 Miles
The marathon registration includes official timed results on a USATF certified course with results submitted for Boston qualification. Many events list official timed results, tech race shirts or fun shirts, post-race food and beverage service, and finisher medals. Relay entries include timed results for each leg and shirts and medals for participants. Registration opens on October 1, 2026 and closes on December 31, 2026 for the listed events.
