Vermont 100 Endurance Race

The Vermont 100 is an annual endurance event held in July. The 2026 edition is scheduled for July 17–19 and marks the event's 35th anniversary. The race offers two distance options and operates with a multi hour cutoff for completion.

The course runs over country roads and forested trails in the southern Green Mountains. The route includes a series of rollers that total 17,000 feet of climbing. The event fields capped entries, with 450 runners and a concurrent field of 70 horses. Event timing allows extended running periods with a published maximum duration of 30 hours.

The Vermont 100 is part of the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning and is noted for including a concurrent horse race alongside the human competition. All proceeds from the event benefit Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sport, an organization that supports sports and recreation opportunities for people with disabilities.
