Seventh Annual Venetia Valley Falcon 5K
The Venetia Valley Falcon 5k is a community run held at Venetia Valley School in San Rafael, California. The course is flat, mostly paved, and follows a double loop that can be shortened if participants wish. The event provides race support including bibs, water stations, and volunteers along the route.
Pre race activities led by an MC are part of the program. Participants receive a medal featuring the school mascot Falco Blue, and post run snacks and water are provided. The route offers views of the Marin Civic Center and the surrounding Santa Venetia neighborhood.
The run is organized by the Venetia Valley PTA to support the Title 1 public school, which serves students in grades TK through 8. All proceeds from the event are directed to the school to fund supplies and programs for more than 750 students.
