Vegas Strong 5K/1M
Vegas Strong 5K/1M is a community running and walking event on Sunday, October 4, 2026 in downtown Las Vegas at the Llama Lot on Fremont Street. The event commemorates One October and directs net proceeds to One October funds and other identified Las Vegas community needs, including scholarships, a resiliency center, and a healing garden/remembrance wall.

The course start line is on Fremont Street at the northwest corner of 9th and Fremont Street and the finish line is on Fremont Street at the southeast corner of 9th and Fremont Street. Start and finish festivities take place at the Llama Lot between 9th Street and 10th Street.
Packet pickup is scheduled the two days prior at REI Boca Park (710 S Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas) and at Swig Drinks Rainbow (7170 S Rainbow Blvd Suite 100-C, Las Vegas). Friends or family may pick up packets on behalf of participants.
Participant amenities include a custom shirt, a custom large medal, free race photos, chip timing with live results, overall awards and division ribbons, and an "In Running Of" victim ribbon. Registration pricing details list Phase 2 fees of 5K $51 and 1M $45, a donation entry of $100, a virtual run option $50 (US only), and a VIP 5K option at $200. Awards include top three overall male and female finishers, age division ribbons for the 5K across standard age groups, and team plaques for the top 10 largest teams; awards must be picked up on race day.
