Event overview
The Vegas Polar Plunge is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Silver Springs Recreation Center and outdoor pool, 1951 Silver Springs Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89074. The event offers multiple participation choices: runners can select an in-person run with an optional plunge, virtual runs, or a plunge-only option. The course uses the Pittman Wash Trail and finishes at the pool. Past water temperatures were recorded in the low 40s (2022) and high 30s (2023).

Plunging is optional for runners; participants may enter the pool after finishing or change in the locker rooms before plunging. Virtual runners receive a medal and beanie by mail.
Logistics and amenities
Registration closes January 23, 2026. Packet pickup is at the staging area; participants are asked to arrive 45 minutes to 1 hour before the event for pickup. Aid stations with electrolytes will be available on the course.
Post-event provisions include hot chocolate, coffee, cookies, and nachos. Alcoholic and energy drinks are offered for those 21 and over. Vegas Polar Plunge beanies are provided to runners; beanies will be available for purchase for nonrunners. Locker rooms and hot showers are provided on site and are not co-ed.
