Vegas Polar Plunge
The Vegas Polar Plunge was scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 1951 Silver Springs Parkway, Henderson, NV 89074. The event offered multiple participation options:
- 5k run with optional pool plunge
- 5k Virtual
- 1-mile run with optional pool plunge
- Plunge only
The course was planned to use the Pittman Wash Trail and finish at the Silver Springs outdoor pool, where finishers may jump into the pool. Previous years recorded pool temperatures in the low 40s (2022) and high 30s (2023). Virtual entrants were listed to receive a medal and beanie by mail within a week after the event. Runners were to receive a Vegas Polar Plunge beanie.
Logistics and amenities
Packet pickup was advised 45 minutes to 1 hour before the event. Aid stations with electrolytes were listed on the course. Locker rooms and showers at the pool location were described as available and heated; locker rooms are not co-ed. Post-event refreshments listed included hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies; listings also mentioned cold beer for participants 21+ and energy drinks.
