Vashon Dock to Dock Run
The event takes place on Sunday, August 9, 2026 on Vashon Island, Washington. It is a point to point running event that starts at the south end ferry dock in Tahlequah and finishes at the north end ferry dock. The route follows island roads on the west side and includes the Burma Hill climb and rolling terrain.
Distances offered:
- 15 miles point to point across Vashon Island
- 3 person relay each runner covers about 5 miles
The course includes aid stations at miles 5 and 10 offering food and drinks. Participants may leave a bag in a secure location near the finish for retrieval after the run. A BBQ lunch with food and drinks will be provided at the finish.
Registration opens June 3, 2026 and closes July 1, 2026. Fees listed are $85 for the 15 mile run and $65 for the relay. Optional shuttles are available to move runners between the north end, start area, finish area, and relay checkpoints. Flostate Running and sponsors will provide prizes, raffles, and event swag at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
