Valkyrie Trail Race is a women focused trail running event held on May 8, 2027 at Cheyenne Mountain State Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The event offers multiple distances across spring trails inside the state park.

The course begins in wide open meadows on crushed limestone and moves onto winding singletrack that climbs toward the ridgelines of Cheyenne Mountain. Runners encounter pine shaded canyons, rocky technical sections, and expansive views. The courses share a lowest point of 6017 feet and a highest point of 6873 feet. Elevation gain varies by distance, for example: the 50K lists 4259 feet gain, the marathon 3586 feet gain, the half marathon 1791 feet gain, and the 4 Mile 433 feet gain.

Aid stations operate cupless. Water dispensers are located at the start and finish area and at every aid station so runners can fill bladders, bottles, and reusable cups. Mad Moose Hydrapak cups are available for purchase during registration.

Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Colorado Running Company, 5262 North Nevada Avenue #140, Colorado Springs. Photo ID is required to receive a packet. Entries are non transferable and runners must attach timing chips to their shoes to record official times. Registration includes state park entry, a race shirt, and a finisher medal.
