Valentine's Day 4 Mile Run/Walk at Washington Park
The Valentine's Day 4 Mile is a themed run and walk held on February 14, 2027, at Washington Park in Denver. The event is part of the RunDenver Series and takes place near the tennis courts alongside E. Louisiana Avenue, with parking available at Denver South High School.
Event features include:
- 4 Mile Run/Walk
- 200 meter Kids Fun Run
- 5K Run/Walk
Amenities and activities noted for the day include free race photos, special event running socks, a custom finisher medal, a costume contest with categories for couple costumes and date-night attire, and a special appearance by Cupid. There is an opportunity to share a love story on the RunDenver Series Facebook page. Awards are given to top overall male, female, and nonbinary finishers, plus the top three male and female finishers in listed age groups: 12 and under; 13–19; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60–69; 70–79; and 80 and over. Top three overall male and female 5K racewalk finishers are also recognized, with results verified by USATF officials.
Advance packet pickup is scheduled for February 13, 2027, at Road Runner Sports in Lone Tree. A virtual participation option is available so registered participants who cannot attend in person can still receive event swag and the medal.
