The Valentine Twosome Relay or Run is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Pueblo City Park near the fountain on the east traffic circle. The event offers both a team relay option and a single entry for a 5 km participation.

Relay teams consist of two people who each run or walk one 1.6 mile lap around City Park while carrying a baton. Teams hand off the baton at the Start Line; overall team placement for chocolate awards is based on the order in which the two different team members complete their laps consecutively, not concurrently. Options include one member running both laps or both members running both laps; the team finish is recorded when the second team member finishes with the baton or bib. The bib may be attached to the baton or to the person expected to finish the second lap.
When registering as a team, participants add a partner and provide a family friendly team name. Single entries may be registered and may be used as objective judges for costume and baton judging.
Awards are chocolate and include categories such as Biggest Baton, Ugliest Baton, Most Romantic Baton or costume, Most Creative Baton or costume, and First Twosome within combined age groups.
