The Valentine Memorial Walk & Run in Support of Catholic Education
This event is organized by the Calgary Catholic Education Foundation (CCEF) to support the 120 schools of the Calgary Catholic School District. It takes place at South Glenmore Park on September 27, 2026, and honors the legacy of Ted and Shirley Valentine by promoting Catholic education and opportunities for K-12 students.
The event is presented as a community, family-friendly morning for walkers and runners, including students, alumni, staff, parents, grandparents, parishioners and friends. The event village includes a kids activity area described as an inclusive space for children and families.

The event includes a fundraising component managed by the CCEF. Registration fees vary by age category and registration period. Registrations and donations made between March 1 and August 31, 2026, may be matched up to 50% by Rogers Birdies for Kids as stated by the organizer.
