Event Details

The Valentia Half and 10k takes place on Valentia Island, located on the Atlantic coast of Ireland. The course offers runners views of Dingle Bay and the Blasket Islands to one side and the Skelligs to the other.

Two race distances are offered:

Half marathon
10 km

The event has implemented environmental measures. T-shirts are optional and the base entry fee is reduced if a shirt is not selected. All finishers receive a medal. The event avoids single-use plastics and has a specific policy for dispensing water. A portion of race entry fees is donated to two local charities: Valentia Community Hospital and Tigh an Oilean, a community house for adults with special needs.

Registration includes a booking fee. The organizer's refund policy states no deferrals, transfers, or refunds are given, though optional third-party entry insurance is available at registration.
