Run Valentia 2027
Run Valentia 2027 takes place on 27 March 2027 on Valentia Island, Ireland. The route runs along sections bordered by the Atlantic and offers sustained views of Dingle Bay and the Blaskets to the right and the Skelligs to the left. The event includes two distances and is organised by Hardman Events.
The organiser operates a green policy: t shirts are optional at entry, medals are provided to all finishers, single use plastics are being removed and water dispensing arrangements are communicated in advance. The event donates 10 percent of all race entries to two local charities supporting services in the South Kerry region: Valentia Community Hospital and Tigh an Oilean, a community house for adults with special needs.
Entry fees listed for 2027 are €45 for the half marathon and €40 for the 10 km, with an additional booking fee of 8 percent. Entries close on 25 March 2027. No deferral, transfer or refund is available under the organiser’s stated policy; a third party insurance option is offered at registration for approximately 4 to 5 euros per entry.
