UWSP Homecoming 5K
The UWSP Homecoming 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 10, 2026, at the Parkway Shelter in Schmeeckle Reserve, Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The event features a single 5K route through Schmeeckle Reserve and is part of the university Homecoming activities.
The event is hosted by the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Doctor of Physical Therapy Students, in partnership with the UWSP Homecoming Committee. The event offers a run or a walk option and includes sponsor tables at the start and finish area. Donations are accepted online and at the event. In the event of race cancellation there is a no refund policy.
Registration details are provided for participants and volunteers. Registration opens June 21, 2026 and closes October 10, 2026. The participant registration fee for the 5K is $20.00; volunteer registration is free. Participants who register before 11:59pm CST on September 18, 2026 are eligible to receive a free shirt at race check in; registrants should indicate shirt size when registering. Volunteers may choose to purchase a shirt when they sign up. Additional shirts will be available for purchase at the event for $20.00 in limited quantity.
