UVM DPT Club 5K and 1 Mile Walk
The University of Vermont Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) club is hosting two events on June 6, 2026, on the UVM campus in Burlington, Vermont: a 5K (3.1 miles) running race and a 1 mile walk. Both events are organized by the DPT club and take place on campus property.
Registration opens in April and closes on June 6. Entry fees are $10 for the 5K and $7 for the 1 mile walk. Additional donations are accepted to support the club.
The course is an out-and-back that starts and finishes near Gutterson Fieldhouse and follows the university bike path and Spear Street. The route is entirely on sidewalk and does not cross any roads.
The event has a costume theme and a prize for the best costume; wearing a costume is optional. Participants are asked not to bring pets. Onsite activities include a 50/50 raffle and a bake sale. Proceeds support the DPT club's efforts to attract speakers, organize events, engage with the community, and support incoming students.
