USA 5K - Hilton Head Island
The USA 5K is a summer running event held on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The course is situated at Coligny Beach Park and takes place entirely on the sand. The route utilizes the hard, flat, and wide surface of the beach to provide a fast running environment suited for various experience levels.

The race is open to all runners and walkers, including those using strollers. Registration is required in advance as there is no registration available on the day of the event. To assist participants, hydration stations are located along the course, and additional refreshments and snacks are provided after the finish.
Participants receive several items as part of their entry, including a custom race shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in various age categories ranging from 12-under to 70-over. Results are distributed electronically via email shortly after participants cross the finish line.
The event supports the Sea Turtle Patrol Hilton Head Island. This non-profit organization monitors and supports sea turtle nesting and hatching activity on the local beaches from May through October. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
