Event
The USA 5K - Hilton Head Island takes place on July 4, 2026 in Hilton Head Island, SC at Coligny Beach Park. The event is a 5K run or walk and is open to runners and walkers of all ages. Strollers are allowed. A Fun Run is scheduled on July 3 at Coligny Beach Park.
Registration and logistics
Standard registration is listed at $30, with a reduced price of $20 for ages 0-12. The price increases after December 31, 2025. Packet pickup is offered in the days before the race at the Hilton Head Running Company and at Coligny Beach Park; no race-day registration is available. Each registration includes a custom race T-shirt, a custom finisher medal, custom award medals, hydration on course, and post-race snacks. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Results, awards and fundraising
Preliminary finish results are emailed to participants shortly after they cross the finish line and final results are emailed after the event. Every participant receives a finisher medal. Top runner awards are given to the Top 3 Overall (female and male) and Top 3 in each age group (female and male) with age groups from 12 and under through 70 and over. The event benefits Sea Turtle Patrol - Hilton Head Island and includes a fundraising challenge with awards for the top fundraisers, including a Sea Turtle HHI experience for the top fundraiser.
