USA 5K - Hilton Head Island
The USA 5K - Hilton Head Island is a 5K Run/Walk held on July 4, 2026 at Coligny Beach, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928. The course is run entirely on the hard, flat, and wide beach. The event benefits Sea Turtle Patrol Hilton Head Island, a local nonprofit that monitors and supports sea turtle nesting and hatching on the island each year.
The event is produced by Go Tri Events and the Hilton Head Running Company. It is presented as a family oriented running experience open to runners and walkers; strollers are welcome. Registration includes a custom race T shirt, a finisher medal, awards, hydration on course, and post race snacks. Standard registration fees are listed at $35 for most participants and $20 for ages 0 to 12, with a posted price increase after June 14, 2026. Registration fees are non refundable and non transferable. No race day registration is offered.
Every participant receives a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top three in multiple age group categories, and awards may be picked up at the event or later at the race headquarters. A fundraising challenge accompanies the event, with prizes for the top fundraisers including a Sea Turtle HHI experience and nest dedications.
