Event Details

The Viking 5K & 10K takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The race starts and finishes at Chain Park, located at 5619 Highway 42. Participants meet at Headstock next to the Loch Lothian.

Distances

The event offers two distances:

10K (6.2 miles)

Course Information

Both races share the same course layout. It is an out-and-back loop measuring 0.78 miles. The 5K distance requires runners to complete this loop two times. The 10K distance requires runners to complete the loop four times. The course has a time limit of 2 hours.

Registration and Logistics
