Event details
The Medal Madness event takes place on January 17, 2026 at Brian Piccolo Sports Park, 9501 Sheridan St, Hollywood, FL 33024. The event includes two race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
Each event has a listed entry fee: the 5K is $30 and the 10K is $45. There are 74 spots remaining for each event. All runners must register online through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A parking fee of $3.00 per car applies and is not included with race registration.
Course and logistics
The course uses a short loop of 0.78M, shown on the event course map. The loop is described as an out-and-back of 1.56M; the 5K completes the loop twice and the 10K completes it four times. The start is located by the tennis courts and restrooms on the northeast side of the park, next to Cricket Field 2. A course time limit of 2 hours is in place. The event lists finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, best costume recognition, series points, and awards as part of the race offerings.
