US Road Running - Concord
The Eagle event in Concord, North Carolina, features multiple race distances held on a course that begins near the Dogwood Shelter. The venue is located at Frank Liske Park on Orphanage Road. Participants can choose between three different race lengths:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
The terrain consists mostly of paved paths with specific sections featuring gravel and dirt surfaces. The course is notable for being shaded. Runners participating in the 5K and 10K follow a 3.11-mile out-and-back route. The 5K completion requires one loop, while the 10K involves two loops. The Half Marathon uses a different 3.275-mile out-and-back route that must be completed four times.
Registration is managed exclusively online, as there is no option for on-site registration. All events are subject to a cumulative course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Amenities include bathrooms located in the corner of the parking lot near the entrance. Participants receive finisher medals, and the event includes specific categories for costumes and series points. Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the race at the event location.
