UrY. 2 year anniversary : Bognor Regis
This in-person event marks two years of UrY. and gathers the community for a morning of running and social activities at West Park, Bognor Regis (4 Silverston Avenue, PO21 2RB).
Participants meet at the West Park car park or around the field before setting off together for a relaxed 5K community run. The planned route is roughly 3K out along the promenade, then 2K back, finishing together at Coastal Coffee.
On arrival there are refreshments and a small programme of extras. A free pair of socks will be available to collect on the day. There will also be a raffle with prizes supported by brands including Exeo Athletics, MileOff and Goodwood. Post-run provisions mentioned include CREAYATE electrolyte sachets, OHMG magnesium water, free Mr Whippy ice cream and coffee.
The event notes that the first 30 people to register will receive an UrY. anniversary goodie bag. The emphasis is on moving together and marking the community's two year milestone rather than on competition or timed results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
