Uppingham Pool Triathlon
The event is based at Uppingham School Sports Centre and uses its 25 metre pool with poolside viewing. The sports centre provides warm, clean changing rooms, accessible toilets and baby changing facilities. Spectators can watch close to the competitors from poolside and an elevated viewing point behind the finish gantry.
The bike leg is a 20 km circular on-road route through surrounding villages and past the Welland Viaduct. Roads are not closed. The run is a spectator friendly, multi-lap 5 km course on mixed surfaces, largely flat and close to the event hub and transition area.
Race formats include sprint triathlon, aquabike, aquathlon, junior categories and relay teams. Distances are listed below.
- Sprint: 400m swim / 20km bike / 5km run
- Junior 17-19: 400m swim / 20km bike / 5km run
- Sprint Aquabike: 400m swim / 20km bike
- Sprint Aquathlon: 400m swim / 5km run

The event offers professional chip timing, online results, a safety crew and medical support. Prizes are awarded by overall and age group categories. A beginners workshop with a coached pool session is held at the venue and a children’s aquathlon runs in the afternoon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
