Upington Summer Triathlon 2026

Upington Summer Triathlon takes place at Waterfront Guest House & Venue Upington beside the Orange River and nearby vineyards in the Northern Cape. The event offers multiple race classes for individuals, juniors, kiddies and teams, with on-site merchandise and on-venue accommodation available at the Waterfront Guest House.

Distances and classes include:

• UST Challenge Individual: 500 m swim, 22 km bike, 8.6 km run
• UST Challenge Teams Relay: 500 m swim, 22 km bike, 8.6 km run
• UST Half Individual: 250 m swim, 12 km bike, 4.2 km run
• UST Half Teams Relay: 250 m swim, 12 km bike, 4.2 km run
• UST Junior Individual: 125 m swim, 6 km bike, 2 km run
• UST Junior Teams Relay: 125 m swim, 6 km bike, 2 km run
• UST Kiddies: for children aged 5 years and older

Entry and participation details are set by the organiser. Online entries are limited and no entries are accepted on the morning of the event. Only the first 120 paid entries receive a goodie bag and unpaid entries are removed after seven days. Team entries are supported for certain classes with team sizes of two to three participants. To receive a medal or place prize, a participant must complete their race without assistance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
