Upington Summer Triathlon 2026
Upington Summer Triathlon takes place at the Waterfront Guest House & Venue beside the Orange River and local vineyards in Upington, Northern Cape. The event offers individual and team entries across multiple classes, including junior and kiddies distances. Team entries are supported for some classes with teams of 2 to 3 participants.
Available race formats include:
- UST Challenge Individual 500m swim, 22km bike, 8.6km run
- UST Half Individual 250m swim, 12km bike, 4.2km run
- UST Junior Individual 125m swim, 6km bike, 2km run
- UST Kiddies for children aged 5 years and older
Entry categories also include relay teams for Challenge, Half and Junior classes. Entry fees vary by class and a limited number of online entries will be accepted. Only the first 120 paid entries receive a goodie bag and unpaid entries will be removed after seven days. Merchandise such as sublimated shirts is offered for purchase on entry and on-venue accommodation is available at the Waterfront Guest House.
Participants must be able to complete their class without assistance from a parent or other competitor in order to receive a medal and any podium prize. The event includes food and beverage options on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
