Pollok Park 5k/10k

Pollok Park 5k/10k is a running event in Glasgow at Pollokshaws Road, Bellahouston (G43 1AT). The event offers two distances and on-site race-day services.

The races are fully chip timed and the course is measured. Race bibs and race chips are collected at the registration desk on the day of the event; the chip is attached to the race number bib and should be secured to an outer garment. Participants receive race information by email after registering and before the event. Race day provisions include hydration stations, kilometre markers, course marshals, music, an instructor led warm up, goody bags with sports nutrition items, and a finishers medal.

Age rules follow Scottish Athletics guidance: runners should be 11 or older for the 5k and above 15 for the 10k. The event has a typical cut off of 1.5 hours to complete 5k and 10k races. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Standard headphones are not allowed; bone conduction headphones are permitted.

Online entries typically close two days before the event if the event does not sell out. On the day entries are generally available where places remain, with typical on-the-day cash prices of £20 for the 5k and £25 for the 10k.
