Event Overview
The Pollok Park event in Glasgow offers participants a choice of two distances through the park grounds. This organized run is professionally measured and includes a variety of amenities for those taking part. All participants receive a fully chip-timed result, with timing chips integrated into the race bibs collected on the morning of the event.

Participant Information
In accordance with Scottish Athletics guidelines, the 5 km distance is open to those aged 11 and above, while the 10 km requires participants to be at least 15 years old. The event has a general cut-off time of 1.5 hours. While the 5 km is suitable for walking, the 10 km distance is primarily intended for running and jogging.
The course is marshaled by upbeat staff and includes kilometer markers and hydration stations. For safety reasons, standard headphones are not permitted, though bone-conduction headphones are allowed. Dogs are not permitted on the course. While buggies are typically allowed, participants should note that routes may include a mix of paths, trails, and grass.
Race Day Experience
Before the start, an instructor-led warm-up is provided accompanied by music. Upon completion, finishers receive a medal and a goody bag containing sports nutrition snacks and promotional offers. Free race day photos are also made available online following the event.
