Pollok Park 5k/10k

Pollok Park 5k/10k is a chip timed running event held in Pollok Park, Glasgow, at 2060 Pollokshaws Rd, Bellahouston G43 1AT. The course is measured and all entries are recorded with individual chip times. Race chips are attached to the race number bib and must be secured to an outer garment to ensure correct timing. Race bibs are collected at the registration desk on the day of the event.

The event offers a finishers medal and goody bags that include sports nutrition snacks and promotional offers. On course provisions include hydration stations, kilometre markers, course marshals and music. An instructor led warm up is provided before the races.

Participation rules follow Scottish Athletics guidance: 5k runners should be 11 years or older and 10k runners should be older than 15. Children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian, who should remain on site.

Entry and transfer policies are published by the organiser. Typically, online entries close two days before the event and on the day entries are often available on a first come, first served basis. Cancellation, transfer and virtual participation options vary by how far in advance the request is made. Dogs are not permitted on the course and standard headphones are not allowed; bone conduction headphones are acceptable.
