About the race
Annual UofA Turkey Trot 2026 takes place on October 4, 2026 at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. The University of Alberta and Campus & Community Recreation organize the event to raise funds and awareness for the Campus Food Bank Society.
This edition emphasizes student support and registration. Early-bird registration for students is available until August 31. A student is defined as anyone taking classes during the 2026/2027 school year. From September 1, regular priced registration is open to employees, alumni, and the public.

- 1K Kids Run : Free
- 5K : Early bird CA$29.71; General CA$46.29
All participants receive a post-race pancake breakfast and a Turkey Trot T-shirt. Event activities include a Fun Fair and prize opportunities.
