Annual UofA Turkey Trot 2026
The Annual UofA Turkey Trot takes place on October 4, 2026 at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB, Canada. The event is organized by the University of Alberta and Campus & Community Recreation to raise funds and awareness for the Campus Food Bank Society. Campus and Community Recreation is raising funds on behalf of the Campus Food Bank.
This year’s event emphasizes student support and registration. Early bird registration for students is open until August 31; students are defined as anyone taking classes during the 2026/2027 school year. From September 1 onward, regular priced registration is open to employees, alumni, and the public.
All participants receive a post event pancake breakfast and a Turkey Trot T shirt. Additional event activities include a Fun Fair and prizes. The event offers multiple distances and registration options:
- 1K Kids Run, free entry
- 5K, CA$46.29 general admission
