Celebrate Strength, Health, and Empowerment
Unleash the SHE is an annual event in Rochester, Minnesota, dedicated to celebrating women’s strength and health. The event takes place at Little Thistle Brewing and utilizes trails along Cascade Lake. This gathering serves as a fundraiser for the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA), with all proceeds supporting efforts to fight ovarian cancer.
Participants can choose from several distances and formats:
- 10K All-women's run
- 5K All-women's run
- Support the SHE 5K Co-ed walk and run open to all genders
- 2 Mile Walk Co-ed event supporting those affected by ovarian cancer
- KidsK Run Specialized race for children
The event features a competitive element with awards presented to overall winners and age-group leaders. Participants are encouraged to wear teal outfits to show support for the cause. Each registrant receives a collection of event gear, including a race bib, shirt, tote bag, mug, and a neck buff. Upon completing their distance, finishers receive a medal with a colorful ribbon.
Special recognition is provided for survivors of ovarian cancer, including a dedicated survivor table and unique gifts. The post-race atmosphere includes live music from a brass band and food trucks at the brewery. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
