Unity Loop 5K
The Unity Loop 5K is a running event taking place in Seattle to mark the countdown to the FIFA World Cup. The course connects various landmarks within the city, starting at the FIFA World Cup Countdown Clock located at Seattle Center. From the start, the route proceeds south along 4th Avenue, incorporating sections of Seattle's Unity Loop.
The path continues through Occidental Square and concludes at Lumen Field, the designated venue for FIFA World Cup matches in the city. The event offers two primary participation options:
- 5K in-person running race
- 5K virtual race
Participants choosing the virtual option complete the distance at a location of their own choice rather than at the in-person event. For the virtual race, registered participants receive event materials via mail and have the option to upload their completion times to a results page.
