Union Farmer’s Day Running and Walking Events
The Union Farmer’s Day event takes place in Union, West Virginia. This athletic gathering serves as the opening activity for the local Farmer’s Day festivities. The event includes multiple distances to accommodate different types of participants:
- 10k running race
- 5k running race
- 1 Mile Fun Walk
The course for these events starts on Main Street. Participants travel from the starting point out toward Willow Bend Road before returning to the finish line located back on Main Street. Registration fees vary depending on the chosen distance, with different deadlines assigned to the running and walking categories.
A commemorative T-shirt is provided to the first 100 individuals who register across all three event categories. Financial proceeds from the event are directed toward the Fred Walker Memorial Fund.
