Race Information
The Union Bank Field House Fall Half Marathon and 5k/10k takes place in Shelburne, Vermont. The event features three different race distances to accommodate various preferences:
- Half Marathon: A 13.1 mile loop course with a 3.5 hour time limit.
- 10K Run: A 6.2 mile out-and-back course.
- 5K Run/Walk: A 3.1 mile out-and-back course.
The Half Marathon begins and ends at the Shelburne Field House. The route follows a loop through the local area, utilizing a mix of dirt surfaces and back roads. This course includes a section on the Meach Cove property and passes by Shelburne Farms. Participants run along a stretch of Harbor Road, which provides views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains.
The 5K and 10K events both follow out-and-back routes starting from the same location. The 5K course is described as relatively flat. The 10K course covers a similar path along Harbor Road but includes a few hills. All races are held in October, transitioning through the autumn landscape of Vermont.
