About the race
The Ultra-Trail des Pionniers de Saint-Donat is a two day trail running event in Saint-Donat on 12 and 13 September 2026. Races take place on two sites: Ski Garceau for the Ultra races and Parc des Pionniers for the trail races. Parking is available on site and bus transport or shuttles are provided to race departure points.
Saturday features Ultra distances at Ski Garceau. Sunday features trail distances at Parc des Pionniers. All courses are marked, secured and timed. Ultra runners must use GPS tracking; kilometer markers and aid stations are provided on the courses.

Event services include toilets, participant snacks, post race meals for participants, a souvenir shop and paid locker facilities. Podiums and medals are planned: top three men and women for the 70 km, 35 km and Backyard races; age category podiums for the 5 km, 10 km and 21 km; participation medals for the 1 km. No prize money will be awarded. A participant guide for 2026 is available. For each registration, five dollars will be donated to the Club de plein air de Saint-Donat.
