Ultra Sweaty Santa
Ultra Sweaty Santa is a 6-hour endurance running event. It is a free event, with donations accepted for the charity Operation Christmas Child. The run takes place on a shaded course of crushed gravel alongside the Big Piney River near Old Route 66 in Devils Elbow, Missouri.
Participants can choose to run for any amount of time within the 6-hour window. There are two loop options: a 6-mile loop and a 3-mile loop. One fully stocked aid station and one water-only station will be on the course. Participants should bring their own portable hydration device.
A prize is given for the best costume, as well as for the overall male and female finishers who complete the most miles. An additional prize is given to the man and woman who traverse a specific hill on the longer loop the most times. After the run, there is access to a private beach on the river to cool off.
