Ultra Sweaty Santa
Ultra Sweaty Santa is a 6-hour endurance event held in July 2026 in Devils Elbow, Missouri, organized by Frog Fitness Group. It is presented as a free event with optional donations to benefit Operation Christmas Child; participants may also bring packed shoeboxes for that program.
The course follows a shaded crushed-gravel loop alongside the Big Piney River just off Old Route 66. Two loop options are offered:
- 6-mile loop alongside the river
- 3-mile loop option
Aid support includes one fully stocked aid station and a second station with water only; a portable hydration device is recommended. Participants may run portions of the event, with options noted for approximately 30 minutes, three hours, or for the full six-hour duration. There is a private beach behind the Elbow Inn where participants may cool off after running.
Awards are planned for best costume and for the overall male and female finishers based on distance covered. For those using the longer loop, there is a special prize for the Queen and King of the hill at the turnaround, awarded to the participants who traverse that hill most often.
