About the race
KTR Ultra Canastra is a multi-day trail running event in Serra da Canastra, held at Pousada Vale do Céu in Delfinópolis, MG. The event offers long‑distance trail formats with technical mountain routes and organized on-site camping across five days.
Races and formats include:
- 25K in two days of racing.
- 50K across three days of racing.
- 100K across three days of racing.
The package is presented as all inclusive and covers shared camp facilities, accommodation in Kailash tents with mattress, electricity by the tents, full bathroom and changing areas, and 11 meals served at the pousada. Daily music and a closing party with live band and DJ are part of the on-site program. The event provides kit options with items from the sponsor Kailash; registrations by a specified deadline receive an extended kit, while later registrants receive a basic kit. Entry fee is listed as R$ 3.390,00 plus administration fees and registrations are limited to 200 athletes.
Safety measures include mandatory equipment checks and a defined list of compulsory items such as hydration system (minimum 2 L), waterproof anorak, emergency blanket, headlamp, phone, whistle, and first aid materials.
