Overview
The Bath 50 Ultra Challenge is scheduled for Sat 28 March 2026 in the City of Bath, with Bath Racecourse used as the event basecamp. The event uses looped routes that pass city sights and surrounding countryside, including the Royal Crescent and the River Avon. Around 2,000 participants are expected. The organiser offers full route signing, GPS tracking via an event app, medical cover, massage teams, marquee rest stops, shuttle transfers and parking. Finishers receive a medal, a finisher T-shirt and a celebratory drink. A finish-line hot meal is provided for the full distance.

Support and categories
Rest stops are provided approximately every 12.5 km, with major stops around 25 km offering picnic lunches and catering. The 50 km course includes a finish hot meal. Medical teams, first aid, podiatry and a 24-hour control room are on hand. The event includes category options such as Ultra March for timed walkers, Ultra Trailblazerz for faster competitive runners, and a Solo Challengers start time.
