Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k : April 17, 2027
The Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k is a timed 10 kilometer road event on Broad Street and Harrison Street in Richmond. The course is described as flat and fast along a tree lined avenue with historic homes and architecture. The event includes live bands, music, DJs, and more than 20 spirit groups positioned along the course.
Registration offers a range of pricing and entry options. Published adult pricing ranges from $35 to $75, with an early bird adult rate of $35 and a youth early bird rate of $25. Income based rates are available for qualifying participants, including a reduced rate of $15. Entries may be deferred to the following year if completed before the stated deadline, with a fee that varies by date.
The event uses a wave start format and offers seeded waves for runners with proof of a finish time faster than 63 minutes. Participant services include a commemorative t shirt, event bag, bib with chip timing, finisher medal, access to a two day Health and Fitness Expo, entry to the Sheehy Post Race Festival, and post race food provided by Kroger. A virtual participation option and several contests are offered, including a Dress Up and Run Contest, a Spirit Contest, and a 20K Challenge for completing two 10k runs in one week.
