Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k : April 17, 2027
The Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by Kroger is an annual road race held on Broad Street and Harrison Street in Richmond. The event marks its 28th running and follows a flat, fast course along a tree-lined street with historic homes and notable springtime scenery.
The main distance is 10k and the event uses wave starts, including seeded waves reserved for runners who can finish faster than 63 minutes with proof of time. A separate Atlantic Union Bank 10k Mini is also held in conjunction with the event.
Every registered participant receives a commemorative t-shirt, event bag, bib with chip timing, and a finisher medal. Entry includes access to the Sheehy Post Race Festival, a two-day Health & Fitness Expo, and post-race food provided by Kroger. The event features live bands, DJs, and more than 20 spirit groups along the course. Contests include a 10k Spirit Contest, a Dress Up & Run Contest, and team awards.
The event supports two charities: VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center and Sports Backers Youth Programs. Income-based entry rates are available for qualifying participants, and a virtual option offers the same participant swag.
