Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k
Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by Kroger is an annual community 10k in Richmond that has run since 2000. The 2026 event is the 27th running and is scheduled for April 18, 2026 at Broad St. and Harrison St. The event uses wave starts and offers seeded waves reserved for runners who can provide proof of a finish time under 63 minutes.
The course is described as flat and fast along a tree lined street with historic homes and notable architecture. Participants receive a commemorative t shirt, event bag, bib with chip timing, and a finisher medal. The event includes entry to the Sheehy Post Race Festival, access to a two day Health and Fitness Expo, and post race food provided by Kroger. Live bands and DJs perform along the course and multiple contests are offered, including a spirit contest and a dress up and run contest. Additional options include a virtual race entry, income based rates with a reduced fee for qualifying participants, a YMCA 10k Training Team, and a 20k Challenge that covers two 10k efforts in one week.
