The course is held within a park in North Georgia and includes some rolling terrain. Water stations will be placed at approximately every 1.5 miles. Virtual participants receive mailed swag and may submit results online; virtual results can be submitted until the end of day January 20 and are posted the Monday after the event date.
Logistics and race features
Registration prices vary by period. Regular registration lists a price of $35 for the 5K and Virtual 5K, with later and race-day price increases noted. Participants registered by early January are guaranteed race shirts in their size; shirts after that date are while supplies last. Awards are given in multiple categories: top 3 overall male and female, top 3 Overall Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Masters, and top 3 in standard five-year age groups from 10 & under through 80+. Packet pickup is available on race morning. Parking is advised on the west side of Johns Creek Parkway. Volunteers who meet the event’s recruitment and attendance requirements may receive a $50 Visa gift card. Registrations are final; there are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
