UCS Superhero 5K and Kids' Dash
The UCS Superhero 5K and Kids' Dash takes place in downtown Bennington, Vermont, at the Berkshire Family YMCA / Bennington Recreation Center, 655 Gage Street, on November 7, 2026. The event includes a community 5K and a short Kids' Dash held on the fenced BFYMCA field adjacent to Gage Street and led by officers from the Bennington Police Department.
The event benefits Chickens for Change, a program of United Counseling Service's Children, Youth and Family Services division. Chickens for Change provides elementary through high school youth opportunities to raise, care for, and sell chickens and eggs to develop business, social, and life skills; the group meets once a week at the Martha Canfield Library in Arlington, VT.
