UAE Running Relays Championships
The UAE Running Relays Championships is the first edition of a team relay event at Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club on 10 October 2026. Teams of four runners contest three relay formats raced across the morning on closed club roads. The event is inspired by traditional UK and US road relays.
Relay formats include:
- The Standard with 4 × 3.2 km
- The Challenge with 3.2 km / 5 km / 5 km / 3.2 km
- The Ghantoot Mile with 4 × 1.7 km
Men’s, Women’s and Mixed teams are eligible to enter. The changeover area is a key part of the race where positions and momentum can shift between teams. Team colours are encouraged.
Registration closes on 10 October 2026 or sooner if places sell out. Cancellations and category changes are accepted until 3 October 2026 or sooner if the event fills. Included for participants are a certificate, a medal, photo service or downloads, refreshments, official timing and a T-shirt. Results will be published after the event when available.
