20th Annual UAB National Alumni Society Scholarship Run
The 20th Annual UAB National Alumni Society Scholarship Run takes place in Birmingham, Alabama on April 18, 2026. The event is hosted in Crestline Village at 3785 W Jackson Boulevard and includes both in-person and virtual participation options.
The course is described as flat and is a certified, chipped and timed route. The 10K is run as two loops of the 5K course. Participant packets for all events include a t-shirt and a finisher medal; winner medals are awarded to overall first-place finishers and to age and gender group winners in the 5K and 10K races. Registrations made after April 10 may not receive the requested t-shirt size. Online registration for in-person races closes on April 17, with onsite registration available on the day of the event.

The UAB National Alumni Society is a 501(c)(3) organization that uses proceeds from the Scholarship Run to fund student scholarships.
