About the race
Tyresö Extreme Challenge is a multi-day ultrarunning event held 16 to 18 April 2027 in Tyresö, Sweden. Registration opens in July.
The event offers multiple timed distances on a looped course and a point-to-point option. Start and finish are located at the TEC tent beside the outdoor gym at Alby Friluftsgård in Tyresö.
Distances offered include:
- 322 km TEC 200
- 161 km TEC 100
- 80.5 km TEC 50
- 46 km TEC MiniUltra
- 6.707 km TEC Backyard (loop course)
Each distance has a set time limit for completion. The longest event has a multi-day cutoff, shorter ultra distances have a one- to two-day limit, and the MiniUltra has an eight hour limit. The Backyard competition uses a roughly 6.7 km loop for repeated laps.
