Tyler Brown's "I Hate to Run" Memorial 5K
Tyler Brown's "I Hate to Run" Memorial 5K takes place on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Abessinio Stadium, 1 Saint Rocco Way, Wilmington, DE 19802. The event includes an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option. The standard registration fee is $35; registration closes January 10, 2026, and the price increases after that date.

Participants receive a race long sleeve T-shirt and a free pint glass. Post-race provisions include snacks (pizza, hoagies, chips, cookies and more), beverages including free beer for those over 21, a post-race celebration with a DJ, a free digital photo booth, and an awards ceremony. A ticket raffle will run during registration and post race with prizes such as a weekend resort stay, a case of wine, gift certificates, event swag, and other items. Parking is available at the stadium and restrooms in the concessions building will be open on race day. A course map is provided for directional purposes.
Age-group awards are given for overall male and female, overall masters, and the top three in each age group. Virtual 5K results do not count toward age-group awards; swag for virtual participants will be mailed and a finishers certificate can be printed online.
