TXFallenPD Tribute Event overview

Purpose and fundraising
The event raises funds for the Texas Police Chiefs Association Foundation, which provides monetary assistance to families of Texas officers killed in the line of duty. The tribute event began in 2008 as a police bike race. Since 2008 the event has raised over $500,000 for the Fallen Officer Fund and has a stated fundraising goal of $50,000 for the year.
