Tweed Valley Ultra
The Tweed Valley Ultra is a multi-terrain trail event held at Glentress Peel Visitor Centre near Peebles in the Tweed Valley Forest Park on Sunday 15th November 2026. The event offers two route options and uses a mix of forest tracks, singletrack, multi-user river trails and short road links. The course reaches open moorland at about 520 m.
- 67 km route option
- 50 km route option
The longer route is listed with 1574 m of ascent and an 11 hour time limit. The 50 km route lists 1145 m of ascent and a 9 hour time limit. Surfaces are mostly bitmac or forest trail. Routes will be fully waymarked and a GPX file is available as a backup. Participants may drop to the 50 km option at the route split during the event.
Aid stations: three on the longer route and two on the 50 km route, including Traquair Village Hall and Innerleithen FC car park, with a further location listed for the longer course. Drop bags can be transported to specified aid stations. Mandatory kit is required for the time of year and check point cut off times apply. Registration is based at Glentress Peel visitor centre with on site cafe, toilets, showers and nearby accommodation options.
