Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest 5K
The Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest 5K is a road race held in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, presented by Mercedes-Benz U.S. International and benefiting the American Cancer Society. The event takes place on October 3, 2026 at Government Plaza, 2106 Sixth St, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
Registered participants receive full entry to the 5K, an Oktoberfest 5K T-shirt, an Oktoberfest event beer stein, and one complimentary beer from an Oktoberfest vendor for those aged 21 and over. The published registration fee is $25.00. Registration opens on February 23, 2026 and closes on April 12, 2026. Donations may be added during registration or later; donations over $50 made during registration will be used to cover the registration fee. Fundraisers who raise at least $50 will receive a full refund of their registration fee.
The Oktoberfest 5K is a partner event in the Tuscaloosa Runners' Championship presented by Fleet Feet Tuscaloosa. That series links seven local races held from October through May, with points awarded to every finisher toward a citywide leaderboard.
