Turnslack Fell Race
Turnslack Fell Race is a Category BM fell race covering 12.9 km with 610 m of ascent. The event is based at Calderbrook Community Church (postal code OL15 9NW) with parking at Stansfield Estate Playing Fields in Calderbrook, near Summit. Refreshments and the prize giving take place in the church community rooms.
Entries open on 28 February 2026 and close on 16 July 2026. Entry fees are listed as £7 for FRA members and £8 for non members. The entry list shows six participants so far. To enter, competitors must log in or register details with SiEntries. The minimum age for participation is 18 on the event date.
Race kit will be confirmed on the day, but participants are asked to bring full FRA kit. Team prizes are awarded with four to count for men and three to count for women. Course records are noted for both men and women; the fastest recorded times are 01:01:21 for men (2018) and 01:17:25 for women (2004).
