Turkey Trotter 5 Miler
The Turkey Trotter 5 Miler is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Wendell Moore Park, 1551 Hwy 393, La Grange, KY 40031. The course combines cross-country, woodland trail, and paved trail sections within the park.
Distances offered:
- 5 miles - runners
- 3 miles - walkers
Registration fees are listed as $40.00 for early registration and $50.00 for registrations after October 1. Online registration closes Friday, November 6 at 2:00 pm. Early registered entrants are guaranteed a t-shirt; registrants after October 1 receive a t-shirt while supplies last. Packet pick up takes place on the day of the event at the John Black Community Center.
Awards are given to top finishers in the listed age groups: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & over. Overall male and female top finishers receive a frozen turkey. All entrants are eligible for several door prizes, including frozen turkeys.
