Event overview
The Turkey Trotter 5 Miler takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Wendell Moore Park, 1551 Hwy 393, La Grange, KY 40031. The event offers running and walking options on trails within the park. Packet pick up is at the John Black Community Center on the day of the event.

Course and registration
The course includes cross-country sections, woodland trail, and paved trail through the park. Early registration costs $40. After October 1 the fee is $50. Online registration closes Friday, November 6 at 2:00 pm. Early registered entrants are guaranteed a t-shirt; late registrants after October 1 receive shirts while supplies last.
Awards and prizes
Awards are given to top finishers in these age groups: 10 and under; 11-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 and over. Overall male and female top finishers receive a frozen turkey. All entrants are eligible for several door prizes, including frozen turkeys.
