Event information
The Turkey Trot 5k is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Shaver Recreation Complex in Seneca, SC. The event is organized by the Foothills Area YMCA and is listed as the 5th annual Turkey Trot. The program includes the following distances:
- 5k
- Kids Run (Ages 3-7) The 5k will present awards for the top 3 males, top 3 females, and top 3 under age 13. The Kids Run will provide a participation ribbon for all children. A best turkey costume contest is also part of the event activities.
Registration and logistics
Registration is required and is open to members and non-members. Pricing is listed as: ages 13 and up $35 (shirt + bib), under 13 $25 (shirt + bib), and Kids Dash (ages 3-7) $20 (shirt only). Late registrations after November 14 may not receive a shirt on race day. Packet pick-up is available on November 26, 4:30–6:00 PM at the Foothills Area YMCA (370 Memorial Drive), and on November 27 at the Shaver Complex (race site).
